Our Building

The building itself has a legacy as one of the first few veterinary hospitals in Tucson. After it’s construction in 1960 by Dr. John Hinds, it provided care for pets in Tucson under the name of Tucson Small Animal Hospital for over 60 years.

In 1973 Dr. Neilsen formed a conglomerate of veterinarians that owned and operated Tucson Small Animal Hospital, Rosemont Pet Clinic and Golf Links Animal Clinic. Dr. Howard Moore joined in 1979 and provided care and service to Tucson’s pets until his retirement in 2020.

The long overdue remodel project began in 2020, providing new upgrades to current standards and equipment. We are so proud to become the caretakers of such a wonderful space with the long history of talented doctors and staff that provided quality care to Tucson for over six decades!

Since opening in May 2022, our mission has always been to provide care to our patients, while respecting your time, continually improving our services, and employing knowledgeable, compassionate professionals.
